Believe it or not, this year we will celebrate our 10th anniversary of the Peachtree Tea. Each year, this not-to-miss event raises funds to support the HomeStretch mission. Minnie Bowden, long-time HomeStretch volunteer says, “I am pleased to have been involved with planning the Peachtree Tea for 10 years. I have seen the event grow each year as HomeStretch has grown with it. I am proud that the focus is on raising funds to support the HomeStretch mission of creating stable families in our community.”
Please make plans to join us February 28 at The Country Club of the South for a champagne reception followed by a multi-course lunch. Shop in our silent auction, which includes experiences and trips, play the raffle, and take your chance at a rare vintage in our ever-popular Wine Wall. This year, our keynote speaker, Dr. Earl Thurmond, Physician Director of Patient Care, will shed light on how homelessness impacts health. We will also hear from a HomeStretch family, who will share their journey. This is a highlight of the day, reminding everyone of the true change HomeStretch can bring to our residents.
